Youth, Young Adult & Communications

Position

Douglas Baptist Church (DBC) is inviting expressions of interest for a pastoral position focused on Youth, Young Adult, and Communications. Were seeking an enthusiastic follower of Jesus who is passionate about serving and connecting with others through meaningful ministry and creative communication.

Qualifications

Required

  • A growing relationship with Jesus and a commitment to faithful service
  • Experience in youth ministry
  • Proficiency with digital tools

Preferred

  • Biblical education or currently pursuing theological studies

Key Responsibilities

Youth

  • • Oversee all ministry to Middle and High school students
  • Organize weekly youth group, special events and retreats
  • Facilitate Bible studies and discipleship opportunities
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers

Young Adults

  • Create connections with those between the ages of 18-29
  • Support Young Adults as they explore faith and life issues
  • Provide opportunities for authentic community

Communications

  • Design weekly church-wide email
  • Work to enhance DBC's online content (ie. website and social media)
  • Design graphics and visual content
  • Prepare service slides and digital media

This position is designed to meet the ministry needs of DBC while supporting the individual in fulfilling their God-given calling.
We anticipate flexibility will be needed by both the church and the candidate. A detailed description will be developed
collaboratively as the process unfolds.
